Join Lifestyle Meditation’s Acupuncturist Tamara Gervais, with meditation and yoga jedi Shauna McMartin for this second offering of a unique and uplifting event that will blend acupuncture with meditation and yin yoga practice.
What do your cravings have to do with your energy flow? What organs are involved in digestion and what are their roles physically and energetically in the body? Digestion is a physical process but it is influenced and impacted by our Chi flow in the body. When we are having digestive issues it may be more than something physical – energy blocks may be manifesting into physical symptoms.
Understand the influence of digestion and energy on the body and how acupuncture, meditation and yoga practice helps to support Chi flow related to digestion and overall body health. With a few gentle acupuncture points in place you will be guided through meditation that will support digestive health and clear blocks that are slowing your flow of Chi/energy. When points are removed a guided asana (yoga) practice will help to enhance and support digestive health and energy flow. We will finish with a bliss inducing meditation with closing acupuncture points.
New to acupuncture, meditation or yoga? This workshop is for all levels of experience and we welcome all those who are new to any of these modalities.
