This workshop is designed for dancers looking to grow vocabulary, core stability and spatial orientation as a base or flyer in partner acrobatics. In this workshop, Meaghan Wegg, a specialist in acrobatics (National Circus School graduate) will teach you many techniques to train counterbalancing, postures, lifts and stability while supporting or flying with your partner. This combination will share a great success in the confidence of learning how to support 1 or more at a time and it will give you new ideas on where you can grow in partnering. This workshop is open to teachers to attend and shadow. (Teacher amount here)
Meaghan is a choreographer, teacher, aerialist and dancer who toured globally with Cirque du Soleil. In 2013, she received a diploma from the National Circus School specializing in Acrobatic Coaching (Majoring in Research of Acrobatics and minoring in Acrobatic Partnering and Transitions), and now works with acrobats, aerialist and dancers for companies worldwide. Meaghan is the director of Move with the Beat dance competitions and is the Acrobatic Arts Australian Division Manager. She is excited to share her experiences with our next generation of teachers and dancers!

Dancers who attend must be able to hold a head balance for 10 seconds.
