Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in my kitchen in this hands on Pie Class, we will work together to make the perfect all butter pie pastry, and a few different pies. Each student will make their own batch of pastry which they will take home (in a new 9″ pie plate) rolled out and ready to fill – or pop into the freezer. With an abundance of fruit in season, I will also demo how to make jams (without pectin), and share my tips and tricks for making the perfect homemade jam. I firmly believe there is nothing better than sitting around a table and eating together, after we have made the recipes, we will sit down to enjoy a meal with a glass of wine. I will answer any questions about the recipes we have prepared, as well as share more of my passion for local, seasonal, sustainable and quality food, and hope to hear about what inspires you in the kitchen, too.
