Period Positivity — A Mother-Daughter Workshop
Moms — Do you have a daughter in her pre-teen or early teen years? Are you wondering how to get the conversation started about her periods and changing body?
Join us for a fun and educational body and emotional literacy workshop. Empower your daughter with the knowledge you wish you’d had at your first period.
This interactive mother-daughter workshop will explore the following topics:
* Celebrating your first moon
* Period positivity
* Exploring different menstrual products
* Comparing the experiences of puberty and perimenopause...
* Charting your cycles for body literacy – a lifelong skill!
* How to engage and enhance your emotional awareness during your cycles
* Tools for emotional release
* Creating a more positive emotional experience during your cycles
Our goal for this workshop is to make periods a more positive experience for you and your daughter(s). To empower you with knowledge and tools for creating better health, awareness and emotional balance.

Investment: $180 per Mother and Daughter combo
It's a 2 hour workshop facilitated by 3 different professionals in the health field. It also includes art supplies that will be used for emotional awareness.

Rose Yewchuk, HRHP
Rose has been charting her own cycles since 1998 and has been a Fertility Awareness Educator since 1999. She has been a facilitator of the non-profit Fertility Awareness Charting Circle since 2005 and completed a Master’s thesis of original research on Fertility Awareness in 2006. She is a certified Justisse Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner and a faculty member at the pioneering Justisse College. She is a member of the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research and the Association of Fertility Awareness Professionals. Rose maintains a holistic practice at a medical clinic in Edmonton, Canada.
A graduate of five programs from Edmonton's Empowerment Now!, she has spent 14 years working with energy as a holistic health practitioner and energy worker.
It is Tami's aim to create a community of practitiioners and service providers who can support local women (and their families) transition smoothly into perimenopause or menopause using a team-based, collaborative approach.
While living in Charlotte, North Carolina, Tami was featured both on radio and television, in addition to writing an on-going holistic health column. Since returning to Canada, Tami has been participating in and creating many health and wellness related events.
Jackie has spent the last 8 years training and working with energy as a holistic health practitioner. Most of her training is from Empowerment Now! She has a diploma in Bio-Energy Medicine and Psycho-Energetic Arts, has studied Non-Verbal communication, Intuitive Development and Emotional Energetics. After having her first child 4 years ago, she was inspired to use her training to support people of all ages in developing emotional awareness — something that has been critical to her health journey and in raising her son. She now offers workshops and private sessions with Emotions and Me.
