We did this program last year and loved it! This is a full-day program for elementary and junior high students to enjoy art, sport, and culture in a winter setting, from 9:40 am to 2:00 pm (though classes are welcome to arrive earlier or stay later to enjoy the site). The program consists of three 45 minute activity stations, a lunch break, and entry into the Ice Castle following lunch. The program is best suited for grades 3 and higher.

We need a min 20 and max 30 kids.
$15 per child and parents are free with child admission!

Heritage Village
Students will visit a traditional Indigenous winter camp to learn about Aboriginal culture, traditions, customs, and values through stories and activities.

Snow Zone
Students will build and create with snow. They will learn about and experience the snow sculpting process by using forms and molds to create blocks, and tools to carve and create images.

Winter Sports
Students will have the opportunity to play broomball, jam can curling and hockey shooter.

Ice Castle Tour
Following lunch, students will be able to chill in the Ice Castle to end the field trip. Don’t be surprised if you find your students exclaiming “Cool!” while exploring the labyrinth of icicles and lights!

Note
Adults are required to remain with their group and supervise children at all times during the program. Programs run snow or shine but may be cancelled if the temperature is -22°C or lower with wind chill. If cancelled, full refund will be provided.
