2018 Soccer Registration Sessions, Bonnie Doon

Would you like your kids to play outdoor soccer in Bonnie Doon this Spring?

The 2018 outdoor soccer season is around the corner. On-line registration opens Feb 1, 2018.
Steps for Registration:
1. Please visit the emsa soccer portal (emsasoccerportal.com) to complete the on-line portion of your child’s registration.
2. You must then attend an in-person registration and bring TWO copies of your on-line registration summary, registration fee (if not already paid on-line), current community league membership (can purchase at registration if needed), volunteer and jersey deposit checks and proof of age.

There are 3 In-Person Registration dates:
February 12 and February 14 6:00pm-7:30pm at the Bonnie Doon Rink Shack,
or
February 24 10:00am-2:00pm at Hazeldean Hall (9630 66 Ave).

Please note that the Alberta Soccer Association voted to change age groups for soccer to Odd numbered Age Groups:
U5 (2013.14), U7 (2011/12), U9 (2010/09), U11 (2007/08), U13 (2005/06), U15 (2003/04), U17 (2001/02), U19 (1999/2000)

— Coaches are needed at all levels. If we have a Bonnie Doon coach, then there will be a Bonnie Doon team. If there isn't a coach for an age group, then Bonnie Doon players will merge with players from another community that has a coach for that age level.

— U5 and U7 will be mixed gender teams

— U9 and Up will be same gender teams. Similar to higher age groups, players in this age group will likely be joined with players in other communities to create separate boys and girls teams.

— Season runs roughly from the first week of May to the last week of June.

— Culminates in the fun, zone-wide Paul Johnston Tournament at the end of June.

— Has two games per week, on either Mon-Wed or Tue-Thur (same nights all season), with practices either scheduled before games (young ages) or on separate nights (older ages)
