— It is with great pleasure that we would like to welcome you to the 11th annual Deep Freeze: A Byzantine Winter Festival! For the past eleven years, Arts on the Ave Edmonton Society has presented this amazing two-day celebration showcasing Ukrainian, Francophone and Indigenous cultures on the weekend of traditional Ukrainian New Years (Malanka). Deep Freeze Festival is held on Treaty Six Territory, and we are very pleased and honoured to have Enoch Cree Nation as our festival-partner again in 2018 – generously sharing their traditions and knowledge with festival-goers at Deep Freeze.

Join us for a FREE, family-friendly winter celebration of arts and culture like none other in the region.
