On Saturday, January 13th we're so excited to welcome Zepharius Samuels, Sean Woods, and Parker David Doyle to our live music stage.
Since opening our doors just a little over three years ago, Café Blackbird has been proudly presenting and promoting local independent musicians. The talent that has graced our small stage has been nothing short of impressive; from emerging singer-songwriters to well-known and prominent jazz, blues, world, folk, RnB, country, pop, rock and indie artists and bands. We are thrilled to have been warmly welcomed into Edmonton's music scene, and now it is time to celebrate how far we have come. Please join us as we celebrate Cafe Blackbird's 500th live music show with feature performances by Zepharius Samuels, Sean Woods, and Parker David Doyle.
Sean Woods is a singer-songwriter, currently living in Edmonton. His songs draw inspiration from individuals he has encountered and places he has seen along his travels throughout Canada. Often singing from the perspective of others, his lyrics and his ability to find universal themes come together to tell captivating and compelling stories. His influences range from the storytelling styles of Americana and Blues, to Canadian Rock and the Seattle Scene of the 1990s.
Tickets are $10, be sure to call in advance to reserve yours!
