The overall effect of practicing HypnoBirthing® techniques is that birthing parents are better able to appreciate the benefits of calm and gentle birthing, making the experience a joyful one for mother, baby, and birth partner--benefits that can last a life time!

Often women in our culture have fear giving birth, too often associating it with excruciating pain, thereby causing their bodies to become unable to perform what should be a normal physiological function. HypnoBirthing® is a unique method of relaxed, natural childbirth education enhanced by self‑hypnosis and guided imagery techniques that allow women to use their natural abilities to bring about safer, easier, and more comfortable birthing.

HypnoBirthing® techniques teach woman how to release all prior programming about birth to free herself of limiting thoughts and emotions that lead to pain-causing fear and resistant muscles. When giving birth with HypnoBirthing®, a mother is able to obtain a state of deep relaxation—awake, aware, and fully in control.

In a series of five confidence-building classes, you learn what makes labor painful; but more importantly, you learn the logic behind why labor doesn’t have to hurt and what you can do about it. Moms and their birth partners study the physical and chemical changes that occur over a period of time when fear and anxiety are allowed to accumulate. This awareness of the fight, flight, or freeze response helps you to choose calm. You practice HypnoBirthing® techniques in class, designed to help you see the relationship between fear and the possibility of pain. These exercises become life skills that also may benefit your parenting skills. Armed with this knowledge, the pattern of calming techniques and steps that you learn helps you to create endorphins and avoid the effect of the negative hormones that cause your bodies to constrict, rather than open.

Imagine the possibility of being able to-•Reduce and often eliminate the need for chemical anesthesia, episiotomies and other medical interventions.
•Eliminate the Fear-Tension-Pain Syndrome before, during and after birthing.
•Lessen fatigue during labor, leaving the mother fresh, awake, and energized as she brings her baby into the world.
•Shorten the thining and opening phase of labor by hours and allows the birthing mother to utilize the natural puulsations of her body to breathe her baby down to the crowning stage, rather than pushing for a long exhausting period. Reducing the risk of pelvic floor damage.
•Bring the mother, the baby and the birth partner together in a wonderful prenatal, perinatal and postnatal bonding experience.
•Have your birth partner be an integral part of the birthing, not just an onlooker
•Learn special breathing techniques almost entirely eliminates postnatal discomfort and «baby blues».
•Have your baby better adjusted and happier, resulting in better eating and sleeping routines.
•Avoid the risk of mother's hyperventilation from shallow breathing.
•View birth as safe, beautiful, peaceful experience that Nature intended
