DIY: Radical Mindfulness Meditation
Mindfulness meditation is the art being with what is happening – just as it is. The Buddha described this practice as: “going against the stream” a radical shift in perspective, not following our habits, but simply being with.
This exploratory 2 hour workshop will tease apart ancient teachings for our uncertain and modern time. We will explore mindfulness meditation techniques, philosophy, and how to bring mindful awareness into our daily life. When we develop a willingness to be curious and open to what is happening, there a possibility of deep understanding and self-compassion.
