It has happened. The 12 poets who will compete have been determined. We are ready to speak poetry into every corner of Edmonton.

In collaboration with the Edmonton Poetry Festival The Breath in Poetry is holding its Slam finals at the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Center.

Get prepared for an evening filled with some amazing spoken word poetry and an audience full of love and energy. The top 12 poets who have been competing in the Seasonal Slam will go mic to mic. The top 5 poets of the competition will form the team that represents Edmonton at the 2017 Canadian Festival of Spoken Word happening during October in Peterborough.
